Settling in.

Well the work has really begun. Seem to spend my days either pulling nails out or putting nails into wood. Pretty hard work but enjoyable. Obviously was always meant to be a manual labourer. Slight setback when Moleskin (cat) pissed on my tapemeasure but on the whole its all good. Have battened all of the top floor and am working my way down. Getting used to but not enjoying having dead spiders hanging off various parts of me. Talking of Moleskin, spends her time sleeping on various (moving) bits of the mill workings. Have to be sure of her whereabouts before turning the wheel on to prevent rather unpleasant acidents.

WHERE MOLESKIN SLEEPS.

You see those cogs are very heavy and move pretty fast when the rivers up.

WHERE DENNIS SLEEPS.
One of the sofa's, the bed, one of his beds, anywhere soft and warm really. Poor dog is always exhausted. Has to have 2 leads on when walking past sheep. Extreme Dennis controlling measures. But has lovely walks everyday. Footpaths on the doorstep, its great.

This is his second favourite walk, ie not through fields of sheep.

And we have our own rather tragic"home gym". Its actually rather good, running machine, cycling machine, swiss ball, BOSU and weights. All this hammering has done wonders for my press ups I can tell you. Sadly the whole place has a rather spooky Pompeii like appearance as we are having the sandblasters in and its VERY dusty.

So tommorrow its of to an auction to dry and gets some furniture / crap to decorate this place with. Anything rather than get coated in a thin film of dust. Dog will come with us, cats just have to hide underthings. Beazle severely beaten up by local beast of bodmin (the pissed of Burmese) tho has recovered after a few days antibiotics. Guess I'd better go and hoover the gym then. Wonder if anyone will help.
